Refunk Your Junk works alongside Recycle Your Furniture, to make better use of the huge quantities of unwanted furniture around the North East. Using the base form of the piece, we re-design, refunk and re-create unique artistic pieces for your home and office or even for bars and restaurants… you name. We offer a style-melange of furniture with a twist. All furniture we refunk has already had its first life, all we are doing is giving it a second refreshed and redesigned life.
Recycle Your Furniture
As a recycling initiative our aim is to demonstrate that furniture can be reused and restored rather than dumped carelessly or sent for disposal in a landfill. Added value for the community is also created through local economic opportunities, employment and training.
Recycling Initiative
Many unwanted items of furniture are often thrown out before the end of their useful life and usually end up in landfill or are “fly tipped”, However many pieces of furniture may only a have a small fault: a wonky leg or damaged surface, and with some care and repair would be suitable for creative reuse.

House Clearances
If you require items cleared get in touch we occasionally are able to offer full house clearances depending on storage space available.
Items NOT Collected
Sadly we are unable to take beds and Sofas due to space restrictions. Almost everything else as long as it is hard wood furniture we regularly do collect though. Give us a call to discuss.
Looking to Sell an Item?
We do buy items, however we do not normally do house visits. if you have items you are wishing to sell please email photos to us, we can also provide you with a WhatsApp number if that is preferred.

If your collecting furniture or having a quick look around there is normally a couple of free spaces right outside the shop to park whilst looking around.
